Where to Shop

1. Vibes and Scribes Craft Shop, Cork City

One of my first shop showcases is the incredible Vibes and Scribes on Bridge Street, Cork City.  It is my go to place for everything from bias binding to burlap and it is extremely reasonable in price. Cotton fabrics start at EUR5.00 p/mtr and the range of wool is mind boggling. My favourite yarn is Rico 100% cotton as it is available in a rainbow of colours and the sheen and tension is just right for my cotton throws. So give it a try if you are in the city. Very good loyalty scheme too.

2. Sostrene Grene, Patrick Street, Cork City.

New to the block this Scandanavian inspired shop is a Godsend to all us crafters and interior enthusiasts. Choc-o-bloc full of home accessories, craft supplies, kitchen utensils and party products. Dark interior setting is a great backdrop to the simple and soft product line. Love the pouffes and velvet covered dining chairs. Just wish I has somewhere to put everything. Running out of space already here in Cobh.  I have to say as a by-the-way that the cotton yarn in this shop is outstanding in both quality and colour and it's less than EUR2.00 a ball. Working on this throw at the moment and its a beauty. All wool from Sostrene Grene.

3. New Fabric Outlet at Douglas Mills, Douglas Village, Cork.

Delighted to see this new shop open in Douglas and even better all fabrics are EUR4.99 per metre. This is unbelievable, lots of tweeds, linens, cottons. Fantastic selection, can't wait to start some new projects using some of the fabrics I saw there today.
